I am looking for someone to do some basic research and data entry for the contest section on my website: [[url removed, login to view]]
There are two classes of contests: Skill and Sweepstakes contests.
The Data to be compiled:
**Skill Contests (writing, photography, cooking, music)
**Name of contest
Type of contest
I would supply URLs for approximately 1/2 of the contests ... and expect you to find other contests as you go about the work.
**Sweepstakes Contests (draws, surveys, essays, trivia)
**Name of contest
Description ( only necessary occassionally, if a sweep has some unusual requirements. In less than 5% of sweepstakes)
URL of contest
I will want you to find all the sweeps contests. I may occassionally request a prize category such as "win cruises" or "computers." Compiling the sweeps takes approximately 1/4 the time of compiling a skill contest.
VERY IMPORTANT: In ALL cases you MUST go to the originating source of the contest. It is not permissible to take information directly off of other contest listing sites.
The researcher will enter data into a control panel ... or supply it in a format that allows me to import it into a mysql database.
Could you please give me a
$bid PER skill contest.
$bid PER sweeps contest.
Thanks very much for actually VIEWING my website to see examples of what I have there. I will not consider a bid unless you've checked the site out.
I will start out with small contracts to ensure team compatibility and accuracy of work. If you do a great job this could turn into regular weekly or monthly contracts.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
The data will be inserted into a mysql database. There is an online interface available for data entry ... so knowledge of mysql is not necessary.
Data entry may go faster if you supply the information in a way that can be imported into the mysql database (I don't know ... but YOU might?)
