Code Breaking

Hello, thank you for viewing my project. This project involves breaking a cipher text. You dont know much about the text itself. Only that the person who encrypted it may have employed a WW2-vintage German enigma decice. Whether this is a true German enigma, or a copy is unknown. The inner workings of the device are also unknown. If it is an enigma, then the code book is of vital importance for deciphering. You are also given the following clues: the uneven grouping of letters might possibly be a simple transposition cipher, possibly a Nihilist cipher of some kind. The 15 groups of 4 letters is suspected to be either Enigma, or a polygraphic transposition cipher such as Playfair. You should not rule out the presence of a third cipher. The start of the transmission contained Russian plaintext which has been translated: (<[login to view URL]>) The challenge is to create a program that is able to solve this cipher. A successful program will reveal the hidden message within the text.
