I have created an Excel file that basically asks a user to input certain percentages for specific categories. Then using those percentages, I want to calculate the overall percentage allocated to each category. For example: I want to know how much of my investment portfolio should be in US Large Cap Equities. The user has entered the following information: 60% of the portfolio will be in Equities and 40% in Fixed Income. Of the 60% in Equities, 50% will be in US Equities and 50% will be in International Equities. Then, within the US Equities, 50% will be in Large Cap Stocks, 35% will be in Mid Cap Stocks, and 15% will be in small cap stocks. By multiplying the 60% Equities * 50% US Equities * 50% US Large Cap, my allocation to US Large Caps is 15%. I want to be able to do that for each category and have a nice looking output that sums all categories, which should equal 100%. I have an excel spreadsheet with the calculations. PLEASE NOTE, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND HOW EXCEL WORKS IN ORDER TO PROPERLY CREATE THIS PLUGIN.
