Hi, This is a "re-post" of https://www.freelancer.com/projects/PHP-System-Admin/Fix-Apache-mod-proxy-PHP.html That has a complete fail! This time will be more easy for you: You have a fresh install of the Linux OS you want. What i want is a configuration of Apache 2.4.4 with PHP-FPM (5.3.25) working on rewrite of vbseo (vbulletin forum). APACHE MUST PASS OVER MOD_PROXY_FCGI TO BE PROCESSED OF FPM POOL. I don't want people asking me to use mod_fastcgi because FPM is "Fastcgi Process Manager" so if use with fpm the system will have 2 process manager and is not correct. Also don't want people asking me why don't use nginx, because i need apache for all sites of my clients, he use the rewrite and .htaccess directives. It's very easy to make working Apache 2.4 and php-fpm passing from mod_proxy, the harding work is make working the rewrite rules of .htaccess with the rest. It's not an easy job, don't bid if you are not 100% SURE you can do. i need apache expert!

Hi, I'm a systems administrator from the US. I've worked with PHP-FPM for several years now. You also should be able to use mod_fastcgi with an 'external' directive, as that will rely on an external FastCGI server (i.e. PHP-FPM), and not spawn an additional process manager. I'll still do it your way, but it's food for thought. Thanks for your considerations, Aaron
