We currently have a system where orders are downloaded from various ecommerce sites. We have our own systems that calculate the optimal way to ship each order, and determine the sequence orders are picked and packed. We now need a software solution that allows us to take these lists of orders and submit them to to various express services automatically, on a daily basis. We will have the list of data in a very basic database, and the software should be able to read this database, upload the necessary data to the correct express service, and record the tracking numbers back to our database. The language we will use is most likely php, but other languages will be considered.
