World like to develop a program that can easily located and capture every ad call on a page.
a debugger tool that can de downloaded on your MAC or PC and when you access a web page it list all the Ad calls from Exchanges....etc and takes a screen shot of the image.
Debugging Session would include - Tracking Down the Source of an Ad
I. Using Chrome:
A. Enable Developer Tool and Capture Calls
1. Hit F12 to enable the developer tool
2. Click on Network to see the calls made
3. Refresh the page until the ad is encountered
B. Getting Calls of the Entire Page
1. Right click on the bottom part of the screen and do a "Save as HAR with Content"
2. Send the HAR file over with a description of the ad, adsize, any url calls they see that may be related to the ad.
C. Specifically for the Ad in Question
1. Right click on the ad and select "Inspect element" 2. Expand all the arrows
3. Right click and select "Copy as HTML"
4. CTRL-V to paste into a text file
5. Send the text file over with a description of the ad, adsize, any url calls they see that may be related to the ad.
II. Using FireFox:
A. Install and Enable FireBug and Capture Calls
1. Install FireBug: [login to view URL]
2. Install latest version of NetExport: [login to view URL] 3. Once installed, click on the "bug" icon to enable
4. Click on "Net" and select enabled.
5. Refresh the page until the ad is encountered
B. Getting Calls of the Entire Page
1. Click on "Export" and "Save as"
2. Send the HAR file over with a description of the ad, adsize, any url calls they see that may be related to the ad.
C. Specifically for the Ad in Question
1. Right click on the ad and select "Inspect element with firebug" 2. Expand all the boxes with the "+" signs
3. CTRL-A to select all
4. CTRL-C to copy and CTRL-V to paste into a text file
5. Send the text file over with a description of the ad, adsize, any url calls they see that may be related to the ad.
