On an existing Linux Machine with Ubuntu 8.04, a GPS device (Navilock NL 402U) shall record the positions every X Seconds in a mysql Database. The device is compatible with Ubuntu.
The task is to configure the system that it starts after booting to record all from the GPS delivered position data.
A small documentation has to be build that i can change later database and maybe the GPS device quickly.
The task should be done reliable in short time.
