I have a huge site that needs to be converted to Joomla. The current site is already MySQL driven using a proprietary CMS. You'll need to convert all the categories of the current site, as well as as all the articles. It's an extremely simple job for someone who knows what the heck their doing. I would have done it if I didn't work 7 days a week.
Note, Joomla is already installed!
Current site already has data in MySQL .
1. So it's just taking the current MySQL file, tweaking it up to fit the parameters of the Joomla DB, and import.
2. Taking the pics of the current site, uploading into correct dir within Joomla.
3. And correcting img source within MySQL as well as any other broken link, because now the hierarchy will have changed. Which can easily be done using find replace.
It's an easy 2-3 hr job max. Only thing is that because we have over 1000 pages, the sheer number of pages freaks out all the newbies. Otherwise, it's not a big deal.
