I'm looking for an experienced coder who can produce an Excel add-in or similar application that will use synonym replacement to alter data in a spreadsheet. My preference would be an excel add-in. I'd also like to include a synonym DB as part of the project cost. UPDATE - As the request of bidders, I am updating this project info with more details. I work with large amounts of data in a spreadsheet (25K to 40K lines). I need a script (it could be an add-in or VBA) that will go through a certain column, identify words, and replace them with synonyms. The synonym format will be most likely be something like this: for the word "good" the software would replace with a synonym selected from a DB of syn's in a format like {great|excellent|superb|outstanding}. The syn source doesn't even have to be a DB but could be another excel spreadsheet as well. As not all synonyms would match in every situation, I'd like to software to give me the option to deny or approve the change or in situations where any syn from the choices would work across the board, I'd like the option to replace all. I would also like the ability to identify certain words as being protected and not eligible for change. I would like a syn DB to be included in the quote, but that isn't a deal breaker if you can't.
