Adjustments to PHP sites

Some minor adjustments to be made to our sites. We have real estate sites that are developed in PHP. All the sites have had various works done along the way and some functionalities are not working properly anymore. Main Objectives *************** a) Preventing the harvesting of personal data from the sites and block certain programs (example EMEX3) to gather confidential data (email addresses, phone numbers, names, etc.). This will have to be implemented throughout our sites and make sure it works. We need to have your proposals on how you wish to implement this. If we´re happy with the solution proposed, it will be included in the project if not it will be left out and only the remaining objectives will be considered (you may be asked to? adapt your quote) b)Search Panel The searches are not functioning properly as of late.? When certain criteria is selected, the results shown is a list of items matching only one search criteria. c) Uploading of Properties/Description The main site is translated into 4 languages (English, Spanish, Italian and German). When some special characters are used in the description for specific languages (example: ñ, é, á, ú, etc.) they are not shown and instead they get replaced with? different characters. Also, the spacing,? line breaks and photos are not showing for certain languages. d) Newsletter and Registered Users These functionalities are in place on the main site but not working as they should: -Registered Users do not get an email with their registration details. -The data is stored in the database, but we need to get access to this data and be able to get email addresses. Newsletter The existing? functionality? is supposed to send all the properties added in the month that match a? search criteria. This has stopped working. Moreover we would like to have some advice on how to fire proper newsletters from the site (cron job perhaps?), and upload email addresses as they were opt-in. **This functionality needs to be safe and not be seen as SPAM or affect our Web and Email Reputation Score**. **Finally we need to make sure that emails/newsletter reach the receiver inbox and not the spam/junk folder**. If the solution is? acceptable, we will change the newsletter structure? ## Deliverables Secondary Objectives ******************** e) Photos and PDF file for printing Sometimes when photos of certain dimensions are uploaded, the PDF file generated for printing the property brochure, does not load. The only solution is to delete the property and upload it again with photos resized to a max measure of 300x225 pixels. Also, the definition of the photos seems to be poor, though the originals are good. We would like to have a solution for this and avoid loosing photos definition when uploading them. More over, when the option "view all photos" is selected we would like images to be shown bigger but without loosing definition and becoming grainy. The photos uploaded on the Spanish version of the site are not showing (As I can only post a certain amount of character in the high level summary, I will post the remaining requests in the additional summary) f)Live Chat At the moment we use Crafty Syntax as the live chat tool. We would like to change this to a more practical interface. We use ProvideSupport on a different site and we´re quite happy with this but we´re open to suggestions and would considering implementing a different system. g) Update on Properties to appear at the top of the list Whenever a specific property is updated (Price Reduction, Changes in the conditions, etc.) it should appear among the first properties shown in the search results (more recent first). h) We would like to start a Wordpress blog on 2 of the sites. This will need to be embedded on the site. i)**? Please be aware that a confidentiality agreement will need to be signed by the winning bidder.**
