Can you TODAY convert this Perl code to PHP? http://etutorials.org/Misc/blast/Part+II+Theory/Chapter+3.+Sequence+Alignment/3.2+Local+Alignment+Smith-Waterman/ The PHP code should be a function that looks like this: function smith_waterman ($str1, $str2, &$HTML) where the function return is the SCORE, the strings are input sequences of letters (eg ABCDEFG & ABCEFG) and $HTML is the alignment which in this case is eg (a gap is introduced): ABCDEFG ABC-EFG

Hi paulkp, I am a new freelancer here and plan to build a reputation around here, hence would be doing this project at a very cheap rate. I have done a number of projects in the past in php, some of them include [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] and a social networking website for the Credit Suisse Coding Challenge 2013. I am doing this project for the money, but rather for the experience part of it, so it would add to my profile/reputation. The project is indeed very simple and interesting. It is very similar to the edit distance problem in dynamic programming. Now with the perl code there. I just have to translate it into php step by step. The project would be done in 1-2 hours. The restriction of having the function signature of the form: function smith_waterman ($str1, $str2, &$HTML) Full payment after the project is done, not doing this project for the money mostly, but the experience part of it. Thanks, hoping to work with you!
