Check a user at login - PHP, Codeigniter, Jquery, MySql, etc..

When a user logs in, my site will check the user and make sure of three things.
1.) The user is not expired.
2.) The user has updated his profile.
3.) The user has agree'd to the terms.
A) If the user logs in and he is within 45 days of the expiration date, the website will send the user to the terms page. When the user clicks "I accept" on the terms page it will then write the date he clicked accept to the terms in to the database and then send him to his profile page. When the user clicks "save" on his profile page, the site will write the date that he updated his profile to the database. If the user is not past his expiration date he will be allowed on the site. If the user is past his expiration date he will be sent back to the login screen with a message.
PLEASE NOTE: This code is mostly done. I just need someone to come in, clean it up, and make it all work. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO CODE FROM SCRATCH. All of the MySql tables have already been created.
