COIN Impact Game (Phase 3) -- 4

Second try for this phase... the last person who was awarded the project was unable. COIN Impact is looking for someone to augment our existing programmer, completing a list of tasks over the next few weeks to bring our game to beta. This project is nearly complete, but there will be follow on work available for the right programmer. This is a fairly detailed project. Your creativity and problem solving skills will be important to our success. Much of the framework is in place, but there is still a lot of room for new ideas. The basic style is similar to existing and older games such as Mafia Wars. Attached screenshots are working code, and not just placeholder images. We will get you started on what I consider to be easier parts of the project at first, for example: tweaking the existing combat mechanics so that a player can never have negative health, and putting limits on when a player can attack (if they are below 10 health). That being said, the first hour or two will be getting you into the various files and walking you through the existing beta so you understand the concept. Qualifications - Have time NOW to begin full-time work (30 hrs+/week?), with work projected to take several weeks - Understanding of the full range of coding requirements - English proficiency is a must - Talented student or recent graduate encouraged A quick search for "coin impact" will result in the news story, failed Kickstarter, and Facebook page. PLEASE understand the project before bidding or contacting me. I pay more attention to bids from people who speak specifically about the project, and am looking for a long-term team member if possible. I tend to avoid bids from companies that only copy and paste the same thing in every bid.
