Right now, there's no Autocad support in Wine or Crossover. Introducing Autocad to the Linux world would be a huge revolution and I would be able to work better without the use of Virtualizers. So, I need any bidder to put his hands in the Wine code and find a way to support Autocad version >= 2006 I'd say. Of course, any perfect success with a previous version is welcomed while in the process. Any code from this will ABSOLUTELY NEED TO BE RELEASED OpenSource.
## Deliverables
The coder (or coders) will not work on a program on their own. They will instead work to increase the compatibility of the Wine project:

So their work will be opensourced and directly upstreamed in Wine. The goal of this work will be that of having Wine become compatible with Autocad version >=2006. Compatible does not mean that Autocad will run and crash at a certain point. It means that Autocad must work flawlessly, with a good speed. To describe it the Crossover way, Autocad 2006 must take more than a gold medal. It should be suppprtable and totally usable.

And read the documentation. It isn't an emulator, it is rather a free implementation of windows's libraries, able of having windows applications running natively on a Unix system. Much like X11 for Mac OSX.
