Amazon Elastic Cloud Enviroment Design & Implementation

We are looking to build a production LAMP environment using Amazon's EC2 platform and potentially scalr.net.

We are looking for someone to help design and architect the environment, such that it scales up during peak usage by adding additional resources (CPUs, Servers, etc), and shuts down services when not in use.

We are looking at 3 phases: Design; Implementation & Configuration; Testing.

Bidders must submit relevant experience with Amazon EC2 env.

• Description: Configure Scalar Server. Configure Scalr in conjunction with Amazon Cloud. Desired architecture is to have minimal architecture with capability of handling up to 500 concurrent users as base. Using Scalr and EC3 have Amazon add web servers, database servers etc. as needed to handle peaks in usage. Initial deliverable would be recommendation on base, and recommended configuration for scaling. Implementation, & testing of recommendations upon approval.

• Description: Configure LAMP server and harden PHP, Linux, Apache, MySQL and folders.

• Description: Install current development database to newly created MySQL Server.

• Documentation to rebuild in case of DR. (Either Video of configuration process, hardening, or a step by step screenshot)
