Advance Email/SMS(optional) Task Manager and Reminder

This project involves - knowing php - knowing how to use cron jobs. Anyway, i'd like the application to be write in as php as possible. ============ Summary description of the project What i need is a email and SMS reminder system that help people achieve complicated project. The purpose of this application is to help people achieve complicated projects by following a step by step process drive by a series of predefined tasks. These tasks are predefines by administrators. The application has 2 main protagonists : admins and users. Admin sets the tasks to complete along the project, the due dates for each task (calculation is based on the due date of the hole project), the order or branch/skip of the tasks, etc. Users come on the site, they just have to login and to subscribe to the service, and give a due date for their project. Then, the application calculate all the dates for the differents tasks and sent email/SMS to the user around those dates to remind him and explain him how to complete each task. The difference between what i want and most of reminder out there is that those reminder only allow the website users and/or visitor to enter events/tasks they want to be remind about. What i want is an application where tasks are prefilled for the user; and that is the true value added that i want to provide to my website visitors or subscribers since one of my site is a community Joomla built site. *** additional info in file attached *** ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment: normal php website and joomla website, whith sychronized session administration--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
