Build a simple Django and AJAX/mochikit Demonstrator

Your task is to build a simple proof of concept application using Django and AJAX/MochiKit. The application would consist of a single page where you can add to and remove items from a list and this actions would be communicated to the server vie XMLhttpRequest and reflected in the DB. The server also should be able to send back status messages ("can't create entry" etc.) which should be displayed in the page. This all should happen without reloading the page. You should implement the server (Django/Python) and Client (HTML/Javascript/MochiKit) components of the system. See attached ZIP file for a detailed description. See [login to view URL] Note: in the ZIP there is a typo: it's MochiKit not MolochKit ## Deliverables Deliverables: A Stand alone and ready to run Django application implementing a Webpage and "view" logic resulting in the described functionality. You have to sign over all Copyright. Use of OpenSource components is encouraged. The source code should come tith unittests and have a pylint score of more than 8. ## Platform Implementation should happen with Python 2.4/Django-SVN using XHTML/MochiKit and JSON. Deployment will happen on FreeBSD 5.4.
