Hello, We are developing a website which is a hybrid between social networking and using mini-applications in order to customize a user's profile. We are looking to work with creative app designers who can create applications for the site. Currently, the app platform for the site is in final development so it will be important to work with an author who can anticipate present and future needs of the platform for sake of scalability. Author's with an entrepreneurial spirit are welcomed in order to advance the site's message and usability. Pay is dependent on what type of quality you can provide to the site. Currently, we are working on a small budget (<$1,000) so we are looking for value but also understand the importance of creating a long lasting business relationship. We are seeking applications that can perform the following tasks: -Photo album that supports uploading, cataloging to database, photo editing abilities and "tagging" friends in the photo. -Chat, messaging, email applications so site member can communicate with each other. (evolving the facebook wall concept) -Games that will thrive in a social network environment (sharing items, inviting new users) -File management application to upload, move, download, copy content that users upload to site (photos, file sharing, etc) -Music players. -Geo targeted social event calendar -Video player -Blog, forum, content -Applications that you think would do well in a social environment (business class file sharing [like salesforce], 'garage sale' app for selling items [ebay principle], news sharing, etc). Our goal is to provide a web portal that is customizable and able to provide as many functionality options as possible to the end user. We are extremely open to prototype ideas and prefer to take ideas to the next level rather then repeating existing tech. HTML5 is highly desired but not a necessity.
