Please see the ATTACHED FILE, below, for an illustration. This is a rather easy, but interesting and hopefully pleasurable job to do. We need to connect a small collection of reference material to the parts of our web pages to which each reference text refers. The purpose of this project is to create a allow the linked reference material to be accessed from right next to the relevant parts of our web pages. The pages conform to a very simple, clean structure, and due to various reasons we can’t add the reference material in the source of the pages. We therefore choose to inject the references after the page has been loaded, using either a GreaseMonkey user script or a full Firefox extension. (All of our PCs are using Firefox). The userscript/extension will fetch from our server the references list (in XML) for every page loaded from our domain. Each item in the list will contain the reference text and the paragraph and sentence to which each it refers (e.g. by the ID of the p or div tag, and the text of the sentence). It will then create a small icon for every reference, near the paragraph to which it refers. When a user clicks the icon, the reference text will be displayed in a floating frame. ## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete AND WELL DOCUMENTED source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
