Hi, I started bidding actively here only recently, however I have been developing websites with Joomla since 2008. I'm also familiar with the Sobi extension, having used it in multiple projects. I'm therefore skilled and qualified to deliver your project on time and budget. That said I have a question for you: It seems that the site is based on Joomla 1.5, which is no longer supported and could therefore be a risk in terms of security. I would definitely recommend you upgrade to Joomla 3.2 and if you do so you could either use sobi pro for your directory or a free extension called seblod which uses and extends the standard joomla structure rather than replacing it. Therefore native Joomla plugins such as googlemaps plugin fro instance do work with Seblod, whereas for SOBI you need a commercial extension. I have migrated numerous websites successfully, some here on freelancer.com (you can check the reviews) If you decide to upgrade to 3.2 I could handle the whole project for you for 1000 GBP. in 10 days. I would be interested in seeing the actual site though, and assess the volume of content to be transferred. Any indication of volume would be welcome. Let me know what you decide, either way.
