I want to create a simple flash-website with a database driven backend.
FRONTEND
The frontend should work/look just like the COVERFLOW from itunes and display the uploaded parties/flyers in cronological order. The user will be able to scroll through all the flyers just like in itunes (either using the scrollbar or simply clicking on the next image or the last image.) See atached file [login to view URL] - for preliminar design layout idea.
The website should display the next upcoming event as first image - date comparison.
As soon as the user clicks on one of the flyers/images that he scrolled through, this image will flip around and enlarge - see [login to view URL] - and display further information and an photo/video gallery of that specific party. This will only be possible with past parties.
If somebody clicks on a flyer that is dated in the future, then clicking on this flyer will only flip it around and display the backside of the flyer.
BACKEND
The backend should be password protected and be very simple to use:
I suggest to simply display a list showing the name, date and if it is activated or not. This list is scrollable.
Clicking on one of the parties in that text-list will open up the customization box, where the admin inputs all the information regarding the party: date, location, uploads the flyer (thumbnail needs to be created), upload of photos/videos that will be displayed in the photogallery.
There should be a button to create a new party or delete a party.
I think this summs up all the necessary information to create the website.
