**Software Component:** Convert exiting php code to be part of a PostNuke module
**Technologies required:**
- PHP 4 development in a Linux based environment (Red Hat 9.x)
- MySQL 4.0 and phpMyAdmin 2.5.7.1 pl 1
- PostNuke 0.75
**Description:**
The requirement for this software module is to adapt an existing component developed in php/Javascript/HTML to work as a PostNuke module, using PostNuke API.
It is a requirement for this software component to be developed as a PostNuke module (i.e. Using the [pnAPI][1]) with the purpose of leveraging on this existing API and isolating and protecting the developed functionality in this software component from future enhancements and ongoing maintained taking place in code base for PostNuke.
The task of developing this PostNuke module will include the following features:
- pnAPI 100% compatible (PostNuke API)
- Include all PostNuke standard routines from the Module template ( such as: initialization ??"[login to view URL] and admin [login to view URL] etc)
- Variable handling, Variable validation as well as Error Handling must be done thru PostNuke’s API.
- Use of User Display functions instead of direct PHP output to browser
**Required profile for developer:**
Mandatory:
- Experience with PHP 4 development in a Linux based environment (Red Hat 9.x) and CVS (or alternative code versioning system)
- Experience with MySQL 4.0 and phpMyAdmin 2.5.7 pl 1
- Experience with PostNuke 0.75
Nice-to-have:
- Experienced in development of modules in PostNuke.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
