This is a very simple project, but is something I just do not have time to do.
I need to have a web site set up based on database-driven content. And the site needs to be one I can replicate to many web sites with little modification, and function the same, but with a different front page design.
For instance, I want to sell motorbikes on one site. The front page should be able to be designed, by me or others, to reflect motorbikes. And I want to be able to have people who have motorbikes to sell to login, load their motorbike pictures, and a description about their motorbike, then have the motorbike appear in a list, divided by say, motor size, brand, etc. The visitor will see the list of bikes, click on a bike and see the photo and the description page.
Every category page will look the same, each list will look the same, and each person who uploads information will upload the same information. When a visitor clicks on a bike, all the bike pages will display the same.
I want to be able to take the same database and use it for local yellow page lists. All businesses in one section login, setup an information page, and the visitor will see same lists for each category and same display page for each business. For all, they will be able to have up to thee photos, a link to their web site, contact information, and up to three paragraphs of info.
I have a Cobalt RaQ4, but I am thinking I would like to use a commercial provider, like GoDaddy to run the websites on, like a virtual server with MySQL and MyPHP or whatever they use.
Addendum:
I forgot to mention I would like to see samples of your work, preferrably some sites that are similar to what I need.
Please reply with those samples and I will look forward to viewing them.
Best regards.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
4) Seller will not accept project, nor begin work until a Platform has been agreed upon.
6) If Buyer needs assistance in setting up software on server, Seller agrees to assist without further charge or as negotiated at time of contract acceptance. Buyer is willing to negotiate extra services after/before or during work creation.
## Platform
The two possible platforms are Cobalt RaQ4, running MySQL and MyPHP, or a commercially rented Virtual Web server, with those database components pre-installed, such as available at GoDaddy. Buyer will consider suggestions on platform by Seller.
