24/08/03;
Due to changes in the design, this project is delayed by a couple of weeks. We will respond to bidders once the revised Spec. is finalised. The nature of the project is still the same.

We have an Oracle DB of which rows need to be exported to a client application in a controlled manner.
The relevant tables need to be altered to accept a status flag, e.g.: Null - not exported; 0 - exported; 1 - succesully processed; 2 - process failed.
The scheduled export facility will export the set of rows that has not yet been exported to an ASCII file residing on an FTP server. The file will be read by the client application which will then flag the ASCII rows back either on this very same ASCII file or by writing them to a different file.
Another DB scheduled task will need to read the result files from the client and flag the corresponding rows in the DB with the correct flag value.
We will provide the DB schema.
We expect to receive 'Alter table' scripts and the sheduled export task scripts.
These scripts will be tested on a test DB, only then handled to the DBA to be applied on the final DB.
Access to the test DB can be granted for testing.
A specification document will be provided to the winning bidders.
