I have a custom Outlook form that is based on a contacts form. I use the Contacts' File As field to display information. I often drag and drop e-mails into the folder with my custom form. The e-mail content is displayed properly in the Notes section of my form. The File As field displays the e-mail sender's name by default, which is something that I manually change. However, the name from the e-mail is still somehow retained in the form (I am assuming in the file as field but I am not sure about this). I can still see the sender's name from the e-mail displayed when I do the following: 1. The title bar of the Outlook item (the top blue bar on the form that also contains the close, minimize and maximize icons in the top right) still displays the name of the sender of the e-mail and not the content that I entered in the File As field. 2. When I create tasks etc. from the Actions menu of the contact form and then go to the Activites tab, I get a lot of items with the name of the e-mail sender that are somewhere in my Outlook, but that do not have anything to do with the actual item that I have open. NOTE: I have noticed that Outlook does not do this when I copy and paste an e-mail into the notes section, i.e. when I open my custom contacts form before I add the e-mail. I am concluding that there is something about opening the custom form WHILE you add the e-mail (through drag and drop) that triggers this behavior. ## Deliverables Rent A Coder requirements notice: As originally posted, this bid request does not have complete details. Should a dispute arise and this project go into arbitration "as is", the contract's vagueness might cause it to be interpreted against you, even though you were acting in good-faith. So for your protection, if you are interested in this project, please work-out and document the requirements onsite. 1. Disassociate sender's information from an e-mail that I drag and drop into the contacts folder, so that items associated with the sender do not show up in Activities anymore. 2. Display the title that I manually give the Outlook object in the title bar. ## Platform Windows XP Outlook 2003 with Exchange server
