Backpacking content website

The project involves the complete specification, design, construction, and testing for an entire website. The website will be a content site focused on backpacking trails, knowledge, and equipment for Boy Scouts and other outdoorsmen. Backpacking trails is the primary emphasis. The website is primarily a content management system of articles and postings. Most of the content must be modifiable and expandable without developer or designer intervention. It must be reasonably scalable and reliable. Please see the attached functional specification. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-tested, fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. "Complete" is defined by whether it matches the final functional and design/layout specifications that are agreed upon by both parties. 2) Deliverables must be delivered in a single package with detailed procedures for installation, backup, and re-packaging for migration to another system. The system will be installed and tested by the Buyer for final approval. There must be a written plan for scalability upgrades. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. 4) Please describe the licensing and copyright limitations introduced by third party tools to be used. ## Platform Ideally this should run on your standard Linux web-host backed by a common database such as MySQL. However, other technologies will be entertained.
