My website plasticsurgeonsin dot com used to load at 2 or less seconds and it became slow after working on it. This is being going on for 2 months now. Th hosting company responded to our ticket with the following: Whatever it is, it is *not* server fault. This is a site *internal issue*. It is *not* related to remotely fetched resources at all. It spends this long time (almost 10 seconds) on *internal* requests, and is rebuilding all menus on the fly, which is crazy. Basically, something in your site makes it so it totally ignores menu caching and acts like a site with all internal caching disabled, so every request has to rebuild everything from scratch, -- just by enabling devel module temporarily. It is your site code and settings which invalidate menu caching on *every* request and use crazy, *CRAZY* number of db request, like 12889 (!) db queries to generate the homepage. If you have proven experience debugging site in D6 , go ahead and bid.

Once I had the same issue when my menus wasn't saving to the database because of wrong charset in the custom theme name. I debugged it by using xdebug. Maybe you have similar problem. You have to give me all your website files so I can install it on my local server with debug enabled to find it out.
