custom reports using FastReport (CP 2006-3-1)

We need to provide the user with reports he can modify to his likings. We think to use Fastreport v. 3.2 to accomplish this. The code to write should be of this kind: TCustomReport=class(TComponent) public Qry:TDataset; Path:string; procedure ShowModal; end; When the ShowModal procedure is called, a form should show. Form this form, the user can: 1. choose one of the avaiable reports from a picklist 2. preview the report 3. choose the output printer 4. print the report 5. modifiy the report 6. save the report with a name 7. delete a report All the reports belonging to this report "family" should be stored in Path. When the user modify the reports, a pick list of all available fields in the query should be shown For what we know, Fastreport should make all this very easy to code. All the code should be in Delphi 5. Please take a look to the coding rules we require (attached) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform win32
