Customisations in existing school management software built with codeigniter

we have a basic school management software built in codeigniter. we want to modify it and add some more functionalities in it. It is simple school management application wich hass following functionalities. student / class / teacher (add/edit/delete) simple fees management simple exam time table and noticeboard now following are the functionalities we like to add. study material upload message system between students-teacher-parents faculty lecture assigning system exam schedule and marks management with result analysis fees structure and management sms and email notification integration daily attendance system and report generation
