CallRouter

Interfaces with PBX phone system software using DDE messages. Provides user interface for data entry on incoming calls. Incoming calls can be one of five types. Each call can have a text description, and one or more data entry forms. Service calls (customers) get a work order form, in which users input customer contact info and work order info. Technician calls get the work order form if the technician is assigned a work order. There would be a button on the work order form to show the payment form on a tech call. Calls have a caller id string attached, which would be used to identify technicians or repeat customer calls. A customer call with an open work order would invoke the work order form. The system has the ability to switch between multiple calls by putting lines on hold. Each time a call is answered, a DDE message is sent to Call Router. That message contains all info on the call. The call is considered open until a hangup dde message arrives and the user has finished entering data. Attached is an old version of CallRouter and the old database, callrouter.mdb. A description of the next version is included, with an Access database file called CKM.mdb. The new database structure is very different from the old structure. This will be the foundation of a number of integrated programs, which will share their data through this database. The new Call Router will be one of this set of programs. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Runs on win9x and win2k. Database is MS Access mdb file shared on network, configured as a system DSN on each client machine. Support multiple concurrent instances of the program on networked machines (don't leave tables locked). Database structure will be used by multiple programs, so any changes needed by CallRouter must be cleared with us first. Use Borland C++ Builder 6.
