Calendar Server

The project is a Calendar Server. The project is to implement the following IETF standards * iCal (RFC2445) [login to view URL] * CAP [login to view URL] [login to view URL] * iTIP (RFC2446) [login to view URL] * iRIP [login to view URL] * iMIP (RFC2447) [login to view URL] See Guide to Internet Calendaring ([login to view URL]). Also, see Implementors' Guide to Internet Calendaring for an overview of these protocols ([login to view URL]). The Calendar Server will have similar functionality to Sun's Calendar Server product ([login to view URL]). The project may use libical ([login to view URL]) or other open source software, such as libmcal ([login to view URL]). Use of these are optional. The server is expected to work with clients such as Outlook, GNOME Organizer, KOrganizer. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. GPL, GNU, BSD style and other Open Source licensed components may be used.
