I use a 3rd party Windows Internet client/server application. I would like assistance on developing a program to 'peek' into the client app. and extract some text that is displayed in a scrolling window, process it and write to a file. The application is an online poker game. You can download the client from PartyPoker.com. You can setup an account and play with 'play' money to see the client application. The text I want captured appears in the scrolling window at the bottom of every table window. By setting the display option to 'Dealer: Everything' in the window to the left of the scrolling window, the entire history of the poker hand is listed. I hope to generate files containing poker hand histories for later analysis.
## Deliverables
Initially I require an analysis of how this can be accomplished. This should include a detailed description of the program's use of Windows API calls to accomplish the 'peeking' and capturing of the required text. Also, a cost estimate should be given for the development of only that portion of the application that performs the text capture.
## Platform
Windows including all versions XP, Win2K, WinME and Win98
