We are a California company currently in the process of building a unique community site that shares many social networking features similar to:[url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]
The individuals MUST have previous experience with and be able to easily include the following:
Site Features:
· Membership Registration, data capturing and management · Customizable User Profiles (similar to sites listed above)· Forums and/or Interest groups
· Internal email/ internal messaging system (eg, to a user’s friend list or to just one person)
· Comment and ranking system
· Automated email messages (notifications & mailing list)
· Fast loading “Google-friendly?? style pages.
· Site, member and content search capabilities
· Backend content approval and user management tools
· Flash interaction/integration
· Design needs to be modular for white label opportunities
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in PHP or ASP.NET 2.0, C#, XML, AJAX
2. Experience with Master Pages
3. Ability to build a scalable system and database(SQL Server 5.0 or My SQL) for 1M+ members
4. Ability to finish the project on time and within the budget.
5. English speaking and open to consistent communication throughout the development process.
Status:
· The front end design and pages are 90% complete.
· Front end design team will work with selected team to modify pages for backend completion.
This project needs to go live by the end of July. Submit bids with price, projected completion time and references. We are open to discussion on which technology to utilize for this project(PHP or ASP.NET). Please state your opinion.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
