Communication Membership Website

We currently have a membership site which does the following. We are looking to completely redo this site for a new look. Site has a database of members who are able to search for each other, for the purpose of networking. When logged into the site members should be able to do the following. 1- Search database (Quick Search that searches all fields) 2- Advanced Search (Allows them to do an advanced search specifying values in each field) 3- Post Testimonials (To be moderated by us) 4- Be able to post Blogs (To be moderated by us) 5- Post Questions and receive answers (Similar to something like Yahoo Answers) 6- Save Searches 7- Update Profile Information (A portion of which should have a rich text editor similar to the one I am using now) 8- Post Blogs Site will be username/password so people not logged in will not be able to search or view any profile information Site should be built in a way that all text will be editable without me having to edit site code. (I understand there will be some HTML involved in code.) The same goes the other way, should I decide to change the site design, I should not have to completely redo the code to this site. My understanding is both these can be accomplished using CSS. A Portion of this project will be content writing. I would like to add more content pages I would also like to add some type of possible revenue source to the site (Affiliate) that will not take away from the value/image of our site. I would also like a flash tutorial on how to use the site for our members. **_***NOTE BEING ABLE AND WILLING TO DISCUSS PROJECT OVER THE TELEPHONE WILL BE A BIG PLUS***_** ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I would prefer this to be a .NET application or written in ASP Classic. However I may consider other languages if you properly explain their advantages.
