ASP String Parsing Function

Hi there: We need some very basic functions to process a string. Our string has encoded in it variablenames and values. For the purpose of the bid, we will assume that we have constantly defined the string to have the following variable names embeded var1 var2 var3 Then for example the string we need processed could be var1somevaluevar2someothervaluevar3 which menas var1=somevalue var2=someothervalue var3=<NULL> We need a set of functions to access the values as follows: function getValue(string, varName) - should return a string with a representation of the value of the variable specified function countTokens(string) - should return an int representing the number of variables found in the string Note: - A variable will only appear a maximum of once - Not all variables need to have a value (ie: string could be var1var2someothervaluevar3anohtervalue) - We are open to suggestions on how to define the constant at the start which outlines the variable names you can expect ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform ASP VB
