We want to convert a small ASP application to ASP.Net (VB). I have attached a folder that contains ASP file..
In [login to view URL], we have 2 question types 1) Radio Button and 2) Check Box. We have created a widget to generate these question types (ASP, Html & Javascript). On review you will see that the parameters requird to create these question types are declared at the top of the control.
We would like to convert these control to ASP.net (VB). Based on your experience you can suggest to either create a function, class or something else. The objective is to be able to generate the questions with minimal coding. And the class file sould be configurable and reusable.
Currently we have [login to view URL] submitting to tform1x.asp. In [login to view URL] we capture the selected answer choices by using request object and display in tform1x.asp. IMPORTANT - I would like to maintain the same flow using ASP.net (vb).
Notes-----
1) Use Asp.Net (VB)
2) Use html controls (radio and check). Do not use .net web server controls.
3) We would like to maintain the same html structure in ASP.net like tform1.asp. In asp.net page we would like to include /css and .js file
4) I maybe requesting somthing wrong, so feel free to provide your suggestions/input
5) Use single page only. Do not seperate by using class file webpages.
6) Submit [login to view URL] to [login to view URL] and display he selected choices by using request object in [login to view URL]
7) All form validation should be in javascript. If you have a better and easier way to do form validation then offer your suggestions.
8) If ajax is a good option to capture answer choices and store then, then please do offer your solution using Ajax. We may do that also.
