AJAX on ASP Classic page for update

Have an ASP classic page where we dynamically display one of two graphics - one is empty box - one is a checkmark in the box. We want to set up a 'onclick' event to the dynamic image so that if the image is clicked - it will perform a function using AJAX (so the page does not have to refresh and move back to beginning of page) If clicked - it will do a query that identifies if the current record is "yes" or "No" - then alter the record based on change - then change the current image to the correct on based on status. so when complete - the image is opposite of starting image and the database is updated with correct record - but the screen does not refresh. Want to get this ASAP if possible - you can just do a generic demo page and I will take your code and insert in our current page with appropriate data connection and actions. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
