DNS lookup script based on PHP, jQuery/Javascript

I am interested in having an ajax based dns lookup script developed in php/mysql. For enabling ajax, we are ok with jquery and required plugins. this website will run on a linux server. we wish to ensure, input filtering is done carefully before using in sql queries or with shell or in any purpose in the script For MySQL queries, PDO prepared statements has to be used.
