The project consists in setting up a program that could systematically collect from a particular website some information, with a view to building a database. The website’s infrastructure consists in 3 levels: approx. 500 links on the first page, leading to different pages with also 500 links on average, which themselves lead to pages with a set a numbers (approx. 100). The information is static. The goal is to collect (i) the average of these numbers and (ii) the highest of these numbers. The ending format should be an excel spreadsheet. Finally, I would like to be in the position to update the database every other month, i.e. run the script again on my own.
