Title: Convert .NET c# form to Mono on Mac OSX
The .Net program is a simple program that does some manipulation to XML files. It takes a folder of xml files, imports them, manipulates the text within, then saves to a output folder. The program runs fine on a windows computer, but the client is heading towards Mac only. And with some reading, and after running a test, I see it can work.
Requirements:
• Adjust my program to suit Mono, and compile for Mono.
• Provide steps to install Mono on Mac, and allow the execution of the .Net program
• I would like mono to run invisibly (no faceless app/ DOS prompt) window in dock if possible.
Attached is just 1 of a few files I use, but gives an idea of the simple program that has been written for the client.
Your project interests me. I've ported two of my own (non-trivial) C# applications to Mono (for running on Linux), I doubt that Mono on Mac OSX is much different. Which particular Version of OSX are you aiming for? Any particular Version of Mono itself you wish to target? I'm sure other bidders could find such clarifications helpful as well.
