I`m Peter, an experienced audio-freelancer, graduated Academy of Music in Krakow PL /Master Degree organ-piano class/, (by my studies time I performed "your" -Raindrops- prel by myself live too) I work with midi last 25 years, I started with old "pre-Cubase" prog steinberg 24 and Atari - only one available that time/ , now I use last DAW programs Sonar Artist and Cubase for midi sequencing.. in your project description you put file limit "max 200 kB" AND .. you ask to create this Prelude "as musicians play" - maybe it `ll be enough file limit, but maybe not - all tempo and volume - expression data take extra space, and- you need to count with something "or- or" - we need to check it when midi `ll be done, then, if your limit is strict as you wrote.. reduce some control data .. please ask if you have any questions...
