ABOUT YOU: You must be an experienced, professional and self-motivated person who can work remotely as part of a team. You must have a history of delivering quality, bug-free results and can prove it with work that can be viewed or downloaded. You must be willing to create a FREE working demo, from instructions, to showcase your skills and ability to deliver in a timely manner. You must be able to communicate in English. ABOUT THE PROJECT: The project includes an iOS app, Android app, API and web-based administration back end. The app has location-based features and an interface that are similar to Tinder, but it is not a dating app. It is free to use the basic version with the option of subscribing to unlock additional features just like Tinder. It also has a basic messaging system similar to Tinder. The app will incorporate advertising via AdMob for people who are not subscribers. Subscribers can turn the ads off etc, similar to the way Tinder works. If you are not confident that you could re-create something similar to the Tinder app or the web administration back end for the Tinder service then you should NOT apply for this project. The back end web administration site is based on Gmail’s UI so should have a dynamic jquery based interface. It should built using a common and reliable PHP framework like CodeIgnitor. The administration website should be built for multiple users who have different levels of permissions (Administrator, Subscriptions, Customer Service) which allows them to access different administrative features. The website and API should be able to run on distributed web servers, which means they should utilize a remote database and should also be capable of storing uploaded images/files etc on a remote server (which may or may not be housed in the same facility). I will provide you with a model and design structure to follow regarding the remote file storage (hashed images, SSH file transfer etc). The web services will be hosted on our own virtual cloud servers (Unix) at Rackspace. The MySQL database design is DONE. I can also describe the basic structure of database queries to help with building the necessary API database queries etc. The UI design for both the app and administration website is also DONE. I can supply layered PSD files (created for iPhone 6+ screen size) for every screen of the app, and PNGs for every page of the web administration back end along with colours and font styles and sizes etc. You literally just need to follow my design EXACTLY and bring the idea to life. The design is NOT a "guide". The design IS the design. If you can’t tell the difference between something that looks CLOSE and something that is EXACTLY the same, please do NOT apply for this project. I do want to waste time pointing out blindingly obvious UI design mistakes when you have already been provided with something to COPY. I realize there are differences between the Android and iOS platforms, like with date pickers etc, and allowances will be made where these differences occur. I have already setup an Android Developers account, an Apple Developers account and an AdMob account ready for publishing. THE CONDITIONS: You must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement and agree that all tangible and intangible assets and intellectual property generated during the project development belongs to the client, without exception. You must provide a fixed price and timeline for completion of your part in the project based on the information I provide you. You must accept staged progress payments ON DELIVERY of work. There will be no up-front payments. You must agree to send ALL code, whether completed or in-progress, to the client at the end of every week before midnight on Friday. This can be via BitBucket or email or any other digital delivery method. Failure to deliver the code on any Friday may result in the immediate termination of your involvement in the project.
