My product is a Set Top Box (STB) utilizing Sigma Designs dual-core chipset that runs Android 4.4.3. I have had an application developed that I want to run on my device. When the device boots up I want my company logo animation to be seen in place of the Android boot animation. I also want my UI from my application to replace the standard Android UI. To do this I need to modify the Sigma Designs provide android source code.
I have run into an issue in pulling the source code from the repository. My windows machine is registered to their server but the instructions they have provided are for linux.
I need to perform the above using Windows git so that I can pull the files needed for the project.
I am looking for a resource with extensive knowledge in android, windows, linux and git need help pulling

* replace boot animation
* add key code for remote controls
