Cordova(Android+iOS) Push Notifications Tracking

*This is a short version of the requirements. A more detailed document will be provided to relevant candidates* INTRO: Memeni is a SaaS platform for online communities and provides his customers white labels mobile applications. Memeni handles deliver to stores as well as push notifications communication with the devices that installed those apps. Memeni supports apps in Google Play (Android) and iTunes store (iOS). We need, for product monitoring as well as B2B analytics, to understand the Push Notifications basic funnel (sent, received, viewed, tapped). The purpose of this task is to find a creative way that will, under our technical constraints, allow us getting full visibility on Push Notifications activity. TECHINCAL CONSTRAINTS The solution must respect the current architecture (a more detailed spec document will be provided) and solutions expecting drastic architectural changes won’t be accepted. It should work using Cordova, Android SDK 22,Xcode 8, and the phonegap plugin [login to view URL] Push Notifications are sent directly to APNS AND GCM. On the other hand, forking the plugin and making native changes to the plugin is an acceptable solution. In that case it must be as simple as possible for us to merge the change on a future release of the plugin. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS The solution must include what OS, OS versions and device types will be supported. It should support at least iOS 10 and Android 5+ The goal is to provide near to 100% of the activity on the supported devices as specified above. Any trick can be used in order achieve the task. If part of the task is impossible to achieve (i.e. a specific OS or one of the required events), the solution still may be accepted but a detailed map of the covered features and devices the solution will provide must be presented and accepted by us prior to starting the development. The events collector will be provided but we are very flexible about their nature: a REST endpoint on our servers, a pixel on a CDN, any AWS Service (Cloudwatch, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB…) Any proposal must be approved by Memeni architect, as well as the final solution
