The proposed game, “Fortunately, Unfortunately” is intended to serve as an icebreaker for conference participants. In the game, players are randomly assigned a partner and asked to create a story together. To do so, players take turns uploading a photo that is accompanied by a sentence. In addition to that, one player has to always start their sentence with “Fortunately”, while the other partner is always negative, starting their sentence with “Unfortunately”. The point is to keep the story moving forward logically. To keep things light, each story will consist of only seven photos. Once the story is completed, players may wish to approach and speak with the person they have been working with.
