Hi, honestly I really can help you with this project. I worked for Texas Instruments for more than 5 years total and was one of the main developers bring'd up the BlazeTablet device so I really have the required experience. The TI OMAP4 chip MPU that I worked most is dual-core ARM Cortex-A9, so I know ARM and I have worked with USB, displays, serial, I2C, touch panels, sensors, and have made some device drivers myself. Although some minor android tweaking might be needed, seems like you are looking more for a linux kernel developer.
