Dear Client, First of all I have to look at your current design of MS-Access file. Otherwise we can set the current student records to new field called Year=2013-14 and for selectable to new one to 2014-15. This way we can filter the list of student based on based on the dance year. I can build a form where we can added/edit classes. One more option would be we can set the classes for dance year 2013-14 and 2014-15 separate. I have one query which version of MS-Access you are using right now (MS-Access 2007/2010/2013). A student table will have fields for Start Date and End Date and for class. A seasons table will have fields for Start Date and End Date. A classes Table will have a field for Season. Queries within Access will link these tables together to provide historical data, current data and forward planning. I have been developing applications in both Access and Excel for 20 years with extensive use of VBA. I have developed several applications for Freelance clients, please see Feedback and examples in Portfolio. I have allowed 14 days for this which is kind of a mid point. I would expect to have a working trial with you in 7 days but fine tuning could well take a further 3 weeks or even more. Hello, I think you need a new table to define classes, with unique ID and date / text field to store year. This is the easy job, the hard work will be linking the current data to this table to keep records (as I don't know the structure of the DB, I don't really know how hard it will be). I will need the DB to bid properly, the job can be done from 1 hour to 2 days depending on DB structure, so please send the DB and I can review the price accordingly. Thanks for reading!

I would add a related table that manages the combination of students, classes, and dates. It would mean reorganizing most of your forms and reports in order to work within the new structure.
