You will get Tension, Shear and Twisting stresses, calculating each one using stress equation for round bar, then substituting by those values in the Distortion energy theory formula, and same at point A " at the surface of the fixed plane", getting Tension, Bending and Twisting stresses," As the shear transverse is neglected", also substitute at Distortion theory, then taking the maximum stresses from each point stress calculations, then factor of safety = Yield Strength / Maximum Stress
and yield strength we get from Shigley's table for the material AISI 1006 CD Steel,
