Hi there,

My name's Jason Paris. I own a music company called Singing Portraits. Basically, I AM the company, but need a brilliant long-term partner to take all the management stuff outta my hands so I can just concentrate on the creative.

Before you read any further, please understand that I'm looking for a manager in the traditional 'artist-manager' sense: someone who's happy to take a percentage of revenue instead of a salary. I'm offering 15% of turnover.

You're someone who can take on all management tasks: marketing, correspondence, accounting etc.

My activities are all about music, but they're broken into various facets. Each one is a mini-business in its own right, requiring its own website, etc. Here they are:

1. Jason Paris: Singer/Songwriter

I produce my own recordings, and wish to build a global audience. I'm a studio-based musician, so the challenge is to connect me with people via recordings & videos only. I need an aggressive manager who can get my name in the media at every opportunity. Once established as a *recording* artist, we'll make the leap to live performance; you'll need to manage every aspect of international touring.

Contact me and I'll send links to my recordings.

2. Singing Portraits®

I do professional recordings with children. These are NOT 'released to the world' recordings, but one-offs made specifically for the child's family. A sound-portrait of a young person's life: a 'singing' portrait.

As far as I know, this is a new idea. Being new it faces resistance: "what IS a Singing Portrait?"; "surely MY child can't sing like that?".

Your challenge is to get the word out about Singing Portraits®, and break through that resistance.

3. Abbie

Abbie is a 5-year-old singer. She started the whole Singing Portraits® concept when 3 years old.

Unlike my other clients, Abbie's made several *albums* of recordings! Her first, 'When Christmas Comes This Year', achieved some success last year, with hardly any promotion.

A number of her songs became successful on Christmas Across The Lands, Sunny 106 FM (Florida), iTunes Radio, Forever Christmas Radio, White Christmas Radio, the FMQB chart across America etc.

Please contact me and I'll send you links.

Abbie's Xmas album will be re-promoted every year, but here's the challenge: her parents (wisely) refuse to associate Abbie's image with her releases. So we use a hand-drawn 'mascot' instead. This is a handicap, but we still want to extend her success in the years to come. Your challenge is to find out how!

4. Jingles

I produce jingles. I wish to promote this heavily on the Web, and have a very exciting idea in this regard. Again, marketing it (building & maintaining the site, media releases etc) will be your thing.

5. Jason Paris: Film Score producer

I score music for films, and wish to become better known for this.

6. Music Tuition

I teach music, and wish to promote it extensively.

7. Freelance Production

I provide a service where I help songwriters take their songs from pre-production to finished recording. For example: a client has a lyric, needs me to write a melody for it, and for the final result to be professionally recorded.

So, if you're an aggressive manager who can be personable and communicative with his client, please drop me a line! Please note: I'm based in Australia at the moment, but will relocate to Europe: probably Ireland or the UK. Ideally, I'm looking for a manager from that part of the world.

Kind regards,

Jason
