Manufacture an aluminium rod, 6mm diameter, 200mm length. In the middle insert Hub (to enable quick attachment at 90 degree axle / motor axle). 5 bearings are spaced over the rod. Bearings must be divided (not moving, blocked) and separated electronically from each other and from the rod. A wire is connected to the center of each bearing (a total of 5 wires.)
The specific info:
A. The rod is one complete rod from start to end. 6mm diameter. 200mm length. The sizes here are fixed.
B. I would like bearings with 4mm width, like: 6x12x4mm , ID=6mm, OD=12mm, width 4mm. But please feel free to suggest other/different bearings.
C. The position of the 5 bearings on the rod (from left to right):
let us call them bearing1, bearing2, bearing3, bearing4, bearing5.
the left most, bearing1, is 10mm from the rod left-end.
symmetrically, the right most, bearing5, is 10mm from the rod right-end.
the other 3 bearings, bearing2+bearing3+bearing4, are packed to the left of the center.
example, and I assume bearing width=4mm and center-free of 10mm radius:
10-free, 4-bearing1, 58-free, 4-bearing2, 3-free, 4-bearing3, 3-free, 4-bearing4, 10-free-from-center
CENTER
86-free, 4-bearing5, 10-free
in a picture you will get ('C' is CENTER):
-B--------------B-B-B---C----------------------B-
D. Wires: each wire is connected to the center of one bearing. The wire is fixed and not movable. Of course the external part of the bearing is moving around the rod, but the wire is fixed (not moving) and connected to the center of the bearing.
E. If you check electricity ('connectivity' in a multi-meter) then each bearing is separated from the rod. Each bearing is connected to its wire, and connectivity exists between the wire and the external-cicle-bearing.
Working-conditions/Testing: should rotate freely for 20000 rpm, no heat. insulator between bearings, and also insulator between each bearing and the rod should be accurate, clean, fixed, not moving, not disturbing the bearings in anyway. the bearings should not rotate-to-the-sides or move-to-the-sides, just rotating freely around the rods/insulator+rod. The wires should not move while rotating, cause each wire is fixed to the center of the bearing (which is not moving.) the left and right sides are stable and rotating freely. Bearings are disconnected electronically from the rod. Each bearing is passing voltage/current to the wire inserted in the middle of the bearing. Wires do *not* touch the rod nor the bearings (temporarily, wires can be taped to the rod, passing above the bearings, but while the rod is rotating the wires do *not* touch the bearings!)
I'm adding 4 pictures:
- the rod is 6mm diameter, 200mm length. this is fixed.
- the left and right bearing are 10mm away from the rod ends, this is fixed.
- the bearings are just an example, 10x14x4mm with 3mm space between them. In this case, the insulator is 2mm additionally to the 3mm radius of the rod. Feel free to change bearings/insulators/spaces as you like.
- the center, for the hub, is 10mm radius,
- the motor is just for illustration, below the center
- i did not draw the hub in the middle, but the hub can be maximum of 20mm diameter (10mm radius).
Hi friend , first thanks for offering this project , it is necessary first to design and make technical feasibility of this work , and manufacturing drawings , >>>>>then manufacturing and its cost can be calculated in real sense ,
so rate i offered is for above explained query >>>>>development cost will be next phase
